Vacation!
Eric and I just returned from a 24 hour retreat at Dillon Beach. Friends from our church own a small trailer parked right next to the beach (last picture). It was in a quaint little village of other trailers which people had fixed up and decorated in all sorts of interesting ways. Notice the sign in the window; too bad, Rachel is already taken :) Although, Eric points out that Rachel doesn't have a boat or a motor...

The beach was beautiful. We saw three sea lions (Rachel thought they were dogs!), all sorts of birds, star fish, jelly fish, and crabs. Next to the beach, 100 ft sand dunes provided hours of fun. We would clamber to the top and then attempt to run down at break neck speeds, slipping and sliding all the way to the bottom. Eric didn't enjoy this quite as much as Rachel did.

All in all, we had a wonderful time. If you haven't taken a vacation, take one, even if it's just for 24 hours!
