We had a wonderful Thanksgiving (pictures will be coming, I promise). Thanksgiving day we had 24 people for dinner. On Sabbath we had 29 people for dinner. I was excited to see Aysha and Heather (friends from long ago) as well as Kristy, Deanna, and Dorinda. Of course, I also spent time with my sister (Ruthie) and brother Philip.
Now, I'm sitting here with my Grandma Sherrard trying to explain what a Blogspot is. Grandma has all sorts of questions.
First of all, just what is a blog? It's a publishing system.
Who gets to read it? Anyone in the world can view what I publish.
Who in the world would want to read it? All my friends.
How do they figure out how to get to my site? Well, I tell them my site address or they can visit timarakawa.com and see it under his listing of web addresses.
Grandma is over 90 years old. She is still working part time, walks everywhere, and uses a computer--she has an iMac, which seems to work very well for her. Anyhow, she is a 21st century grandma if you ever saw one!
Will write more later, I have to show grandma how I publish this post. Maybe I can convince her to start her own blogspot!!!
