Ask me why

So we are driving in the car, and Amy is making some weird noise in the back with her water cup. I was sort of ignoring it when she suddenly stopped and said, "Mommy, ask me why I'm scraping my cup?"
"Amy," I obliged, "Why are you scraping your cup?"
"So that I can make a strange noise!"
I guess she was succeeding!
