Batteries for my violin

Amy is taking violin lessons--which right now consists of learning to bow and hold her violin. I got my violin out (for the first time in several years) and have been practicing along with her. Amy, of course, wants me to play my violin but currently all of my violin strings are broken/frayed beyond tuning. I explained to her I'd have to replace the strings before I can play it.

"Oh," she exclaimed. "Can't you just get batteries for it from the store?"
