Christmas through the eyes of a 4 y/o
Amy's version of the Christmas story (word for word, not kidding)
One day in Bethlehem Mary was praying and an angel came and said, "Mary, you are going to have a baby in your tummy."
"Oh," said Mary. "I can't have a baby because I'm not married."
"Don't worry," replied the Angel. "Joseph is going to be your husband."
Then Mary went and found Joseph and said, "Joseph will you marry me?"
Joseph said, "Yes, I will marry you!"
Then the Angel came back to Mary and said, "You can have your baby now because you are married!" Mary was so happy.
Then she and Joseph rode on a horse to find a new home. They knocked on lots of doors but no one would let them use their house. Then Mary found a stable. She got some hay and made a bed. Then she found cloth, nice white cloth. When Baby Jesus came she wrapped him in the cloth and put him on the hay. Then shepherds came and saw the baby. After the Shepherds left, wise men came and gave him lots of nice presents. And that's the end of the story!
