Eric Blogging again...

Amy is quite into weddings at this age. She informed me at the breakfast table: "Daddy, I think I will invite you and mommy to my wedding..." Thanks! that's great... "But I don't think I've invite my grandparents, they'll all be dead by the time I get married." I told Amy I didn't think so, but thought better of further discussion as I do hope she puts off getting married as long as possible....

Today, Amy and Michael are marrying each other multiple times. Amy told Michael where to stand, then closed the door, then opened it, and then started singing "the bride is approaching, the bride is approaching." She and Michael then locked in a cheek to cheek embrace and were quite passionately hugging. I reminded them there were other parts to the wedding. So they broke their embrace long enough to pretend someone was saying something. They Michael got bored and said, "we will now kiss the bride" and smooched Amy's cheek. Then Amy said, "we will now kiss the groom" and smooched Michael's cheek. They them marched out singing "the bride and groom are approaching, the bride and groom are approaching..."
