Not five minutes later she comes slinking into the living room where I'm watching Doug Batchelor on TV. "Mom, I've thought of something you need to apologize for."
"Really," I ask.
Yes," she answers solemnly. "You need to say I'm sorry for not playing the game tonight that I wanted to play."
Ahhh, yes the game she wanted to play instead of going to bed. Sorry gal. You ain't getting an apology for doing my motherly duty.
