Celebration of cold day

It's finally starting to cool off where we live. After 6 months of heat, it's nice to have it nippy in the morning. It's not so cold that I've had to drag out the winter jackets, but we are wearing long sleeves and sweaters until the sun comes out. Tonight we walked over to our neighbors house to take a loaf of freshly baked bread. It's a small thank you for our neighbor plowing our garden and mowing our field. By the time we returned, I was happy to step back into our warm kitchen. As I warmed my hands in the still warm oven., I asked the kids what they want for supper. SMOOTHIES! Was the unanimous reply.
"Smoothies? It's cold outside." I really wanted talk them into something just a little warmer.
"Oh yes," said Amy, without missing a beat. "We want smoothies in for a 'celebration of cold day.'"
