Happy Anniversary

Today is our 15th wedding anniversary. It seems like just yesterday we were off on our honeymoon after a fun filled day celebrating with family and friends. It’s been a wonderful journey with my amazing man.

I asked the kids what mommy should do for daddy to celebrate our anniversary. Michael had an immediate idea, “Mommy, you and daddy should spend some time together! You go into your room and spend one minute talking with daddy.”

Amy didn’t think that was quite long enough. “No Michael,” she objected. “One minute is way too short.”

“Yeah,” Michael agreed. “You should spend longer, at least five or ten minutes together.”
