Sincere apologies

Today the concept of apology came up during lunch conversation with my kids. Amy was quick to point out that I (mom) am very good at apologizing. “And mom,” assured me, “You are actually repentant when you apologize. I’m usually not, I just say, ‘I’m sorry’ but don’t really mean it.”

Good to know my kids don’t doubt my sincerity.
