Days #6 & 7

Day #6 was Friday.
It rained all . day . long! But, we still had a wonderful day. Plumbers came and fixed the water pressure into the house (yay! I got to see PEOPLE!), then my house cleaner showed up (Yay! more people!), then Pat and Cat came over so I could help Cat file for unemployment (Yay! still more people!!!). Then Eric came home early (Yay!!! Help with kids).

The kids were really quite well behaved. They picked up all their mess around the house and helped me get all ready for Sabbath. Then they decided they wanted to "camp on the living room floor" so they made a bed out of pillows and blankets and slept on the floor Friday night.

Day #7
Sabbath was a glorious day. After Sabbath school (via zoom) and then church (via livestream) we met some friends down at the Hixson Greenway for a hike. Apparently, all of Hixson got the memo about hiking because the parking lot was completely packed. We spent 2 1/2 hours outside in the sunshine and fresh air. It was such a beautiful day that we decided to take a second walk after supper! We talked my parents into coming. My daughter forgot her coat and hat. Since it was chilly, she talked my mom into sharing a hat with her. The result required a picture (see below). We ended the Sabbath with worship at my parent's house.

I am completely over the media hype and frenzy. Looking at the US trends, this is going to be a BIG nothing. I'm irritated that links that talk about how this "isn't worse than the flu" have been suppressed and pulled off the internet. Seriously, can't google these links and if you find one it's "been removed." I think the media needs to be FIRED. They have created a public hysteria that has resulted in ridiculous measures being enacted to control something minimally worse than the "common flu." Please, someone have some common sense. The MEDIA should be responsible for tanking the economy. Seriously, someone needs to hold them accountable.
