Names

 For some reason breakfast seems to be when my kids start thinking about their future progeny. This is a sample of recent “Progenous” conversation. 

Michael: Hey Mom! Do you know what I want to name my future kids? If I have four kids, they will be Lucy, Pricilla, Michael, and Philip. I have only two kids they will be Michael Philip Nelson or Lucy Pricilla Nelson OR Michael Philip Nelson and Pricilla Lucy Nelson.

Mom: What if you only have boys?

Michael: Then they will be Michael Charles Nelson and Philip Charles Nelson.

Mom: What if your wife doesn’t like the names. Guess you had better have some sort of prenuptial agreement?

Michael: Well, If she tries to name our child Isabella I will nicely tell her that is the name for Jezebel and we will not be naming our child that. 

Mom: But no one associates Isabella with Jezebel!

Michael: No, I do not like that name.

Amy: Well, I am going to name my kids Amelia Ann or Alice Ann or Emily Ann. And I am not going to have any boys.
